Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers

The most tell-tale sign of aging are the wrinkles and crevices that appear as our skin loses elasticity and our faces lose volume. Fillers can be used on different parts of the face including the eyes and eyebrows, mouth and lips, cheeks, chin and jaw line, on scared spots, wrinkles and fine lines.

Types of fillers

Hyaluronic Acid (Restylane, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Defyne, Restylane Refyne, Juvederm Voluma, and Juvederm Ultra Plus XC)

Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in skin that helps to maintain volume and hydration. Synthetically produced hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, almost identical to those naturally produced, can restore lost volume, smooth out wrinkles and stimulate natural collagen.

Collagen Stimulator (Radiesse)

Radiesse contains Calcium Hydroxylapatite which is transported via gel carriers. Once the Radiesse is injected it delivers instant volume but also continues to work after the injection by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production. The gel carriers are eventually absorbed by the body, leaving your own natural collagen.

How long it will last?

With minimal downtime, results can be seen immediately after treatment and may last up to six months or longer (results depend on the type of filler and the injection area). The treatment may take between 15-20 minutes or more depending on the area being treated. The patient can leave almost immediately and can resume to routine activities quickly.
