Kenneth D. Novak, M.D. is a board-certified medical and surgical ophthalmologist specializing in laser, cataract, lens implant surgery and glaucoma care. He has specific fellowship training and expertise in complex cataract and lens implant procedures.
Dr. Novak completed his undergraduate education at Bowdoin College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, followed by medical school training at the University of Rochester where he graduated with the highest honors. He served his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh where he was elected chief resident and then completed a fellowship in anterior segment surgery (cataract, lens implant, corneal and refractive) at the nationally recognized Baylor College of Medicine, Cullen Eye institute. He has published many eye research papers in the major peer-reviewed ophthalmology literature and has coauthored a Chapter in Steinert’s Textbook on Cataract Surgical Technique.
Dr. Novak is President Emeritus of CNY Eye Physicians and Surgeons, where he served the Utica and Little Falls, NY communities and surrounding areas for over 20 years. Ophthalmic Consultants of Vermont is pleased to welcome him to our practice and community.
