Dr. Christiana Munroe brings exceptional training and advanced expertise in ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery to Ophthalmic Consultants of Vermont.

Dr. Munroe is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Dartmouth Medical School, where she earned her medical degree with honors and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Eye Institute, followed by advanced fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

She is double board certified and specializes in a broad range of medical, surgical, reconstructive, and cosmetic eye care. Her expertise includes cataract surgery, cosmetic eyelid surgery, reconstructive eyelid surgery, and orbital surgery.

Dr. Munroe is committed to providing personalized care that considers each patient’s individual needs, concerns, and goals. Her compassionate approach and attention to detail allow her to provide both functional and aesthetic treatments designed to achieve natural, thoughtful results.
