
Joshua Hardin, M.D. specializes in incisional glaucoma surgery, laser procedures, glaucoma management, cataract surgery and medical management of ophthalmic conditions. He offers a broad range of services including routine and complex cataract surgery, premium IOLs, Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGs), canaloplasty, goniotomy, and laser procedures: Cyclophotocoagulation, SLT, LPI, YAG Capsulotomy.
Dr. Hardin completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Texas where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology, followed by medical school training at the University of Texas. He served his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Arkansas where he was voted resident of the year. For two years, Dr. Hardin was Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where he cared for patients, taught residents, and students, and participated in research and academic writing. Dr. Hardin went on to complete a glaucoma fellowship at the nationally recognized Johns Hopkins University, Wilmer Eye Institute. He has authored book chapters and published many papers in major peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals.
